Equipment
If you can design it, you can print it. Use our 3D for models, toys, and other designs.
- This station requires Certification Training before use. If this is your first time to use the 3D printer, please show your certificate to the front desk.
- This station also requires a signed user agreement and a library card or Innovation Zone card. See the front desk for details.
- The 3D Printer is available by reservation only. The minimum reservation time limit is 2 hours and the maximum time limit is 4 hours.
- Failure to arrive within 15 minutes of the reservation starting time may result in cancellation.
- Cancellation of a 3D Printer reservation should be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time or as far in advance as possible. Failure to notify the library of cancellation may result in the denial of future requests. To cancel, please follow the link in the reservation confirmation email, or call the Library at 972-247-2511.
- Please be aware, all file preparation and print(s) must be completed within the allotted reservation time. No projects that take longer than 4 hours will be allowed. It is recommended files should be prepared prior to arrival and stored on an SD card.
